Xikang Second Line

The full name of Xi'an-Ankang Second Line is the second line project of Xi'an Ankang Additional Railway. The line starts from Yaocun Station of Longhai railway in the north, passes through South Xi'an, Zhashui, Zhen'an, Xunyang County, and ends in Hanbin District in the south. The total length of the line project is 243.8 kilometers. The main stations include Yaocun, Xi'an South, Zhashui, Zhen'an, and Xunyang North to Ankang Station. The total investment of the project is 11.16 billion yuan. The additional second line of Xi'an–Ankang railway is designed to be 160 km/h. Constructed by China Railway Electrification Bureau, China Railway 12th Bureau, China Railway 19th Bureau, and China Railway 20th Bureau. At 15:30 on October 30, 2013, the first Freight train safely passed the new railway bridge between Xunyang North and Dalingpu on the second line of Xi'an–Ankang railway after thousands of railway construction personnel worked hard for 6 hours. It marks the full opening and operation of the main line of the second line of Xi'an–Ankang railway.
