Longyan Railway Project

Longyan Railway is an important railway in Yantai City, Shandong Province, with 13 stations in Lutou, Longkou, Beigou, Wangli, Penglai, Liujiagou, Chaoshui, Yantai Xigang, Dajijia, Bajiao, Yantai West, Beisoap and Zhuji. Passenger transport is introduced to Yantai Station through Zhuji Station, and freight transport is connected to Fukuyama Station. Longyan Railway, Deda Railway and the existing Da Lailong Line are collectively known as Delongyan Railway, which together constitute a convenient passage from Shanxi Coal Base to Bohai Rim Port. The Longyan Railway has a total length of about 113 kilometers and an investment of about 6 billion yuan, passing through five counties and cities in Longkou, Penglai, Development Zone, Fushan District and Zhifu District, with a total of 13 stations on the line; It is an electrified passenger and freight co-line railway with a long-term annual freight capacity of 50 million tons and is expected to be put into use in 2016. Longyan Railway is along the coast, and its completion will connect multiple ports in Bohai Bay, and at the same time will be integrated with the Dalai Long Railway and the Huanghua-Daowa Railway that is about to start construction, forming a new economic channel around the Bohai Sea, which has a positive driving effect on the economic development of Yantai area.
